3 Holiday Dessert Protein Shakes That Taste Like Christmas in a Glass

The holidays are full of cookies, pies and sugary coffee drinks. I love them too. But sometimes you want that cozy holiday flavor without baking anything or feeling sluggish afterwards.

These dessert-style protein shakes taste like the holidays in a glass. Each one takes about two minutes and a blender. No oven, no mixer, no dishes piling up.

  • ½ frozen banana
  • ½ tsp ground ginger

  • ½ cup milk of choice
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

  • Freeze ripe bananas in slices so you always have a creamy base ready.
  • Add liquid first, then powder, then ice, so nothing sticks to the bottom.
  • Make spice mixes ahead: one small jar of “gingerbread spice” saves time every morning.
  • Too thick? Add a splash of milk. Too thin? Add more ice.
